I had an avocado salad, but was charged extra 2.50 for half an avocado.

Small little coffee shop with great vibes and good coffee. Pretty average place but one thing that threw me off was the owner not knowing what is in her home brewed kombucha. When I asked what tea she used she basically could only tell me it was not black and that she thought it was an herbal blend of some sort. It's just kind of odd when someone who makes and sells something, has no idea what they used to make their stuff. Other than that it was your average visit to an average coffee shop.

Good coffee and breakfasts, menu is simple which I think is perfect for a quick meal, better than most places, just the right amount of friendly from the staff.

Nice little spot for coffee or a bite located in the center of town. The WiFi has never worked well when I tried to use it though.

Correction: My original review of Waterlily Cafe was definitely meant for another competitor in Topanga about 1 mile away. Thank you for pointing that out...Waterlily Cafe was a nice breath of fresh air after multiple weak experiences at other places during a weeklong stay in Topanga. It was a nice environment to walk into with a bunch of kind customers as well. I chose to order a sandwich loaded with fresh vegetables, and the sandwich met exactly what I was looking for. This was my favorite place to go to, and I'm not sure at all how I confused this place with one of the much lower quality competitors.

The food here is awesome. Everything is freshly made, the meat is organic and the coffee is great. Great place either before or after a hike. Sit down outside, take a breather and enjoy Topanga.

I normally make this a meeting place in Topanga.. it's close to cute stores and the food is simple.. but the lady did something today that really threw me. This is a small community with very chill vibes based on trust makes you feel like you're in a small town where everybody knows each other... When I ask for the bathroom key she insisted that I give her my car keys. ??? I'm not in high school walking around with a big backpack so it's so weird and although I had breakfast there it's making me never want to go back ... It was awkward and immediately created an atmosphere of authoritarianism and mistrust. I choose to go to support her business but no one wants to be made to feel like they're going to steal something as stupid as a bathroom key. Any small business should base their existence on trust familiar atmosphere not that. She's the owner I hope she knows she just cost herself a bunch of customers

Friendly staff, good food, reasonable price. Seems like a good local spot. Only wish they were open for dinner.

Pleasant with yummy, healthy food

They messed up my order. I asked for tun sandwich and he tried to give me tuna salad. He fixed but refused to refund 2 overpriced that I payed.

The food is good but the menu options are very limited and the order takes forever to get ready because there's only one person in the back

I really like the new facelift! The counter folks are helpful and patient and polite.

The food is always fresh and delicious and the staff are very friendly. The quintessential Topanga vibe. Highly recommend the mozzarella sandwich (add some avocado) and the fresh soups are wicked good. Phillip is a gem and a fine gentleman to boot!

Nice place to get an organic juice or ice cream. Great service and affordable.
